The Haute Spot Challenge #1 was so much fun and you all rock with your equations.  Ashley has selected a winner for the Haute Spot Challenge #1.  The winner is......Roxy49!!  Congratulations, Roxy and what a tiring trip.  Here is Roxy's winning layout.

This week's Haute Spot Challenge #2 has been throught up by the ever-positive Corinne Delis.  Corinne's ability to see the positive in everything is what touches me so much about this challenge. 

Write a letter to someone(or journal about them) that you met briefly in your life or about someone that you never met in real life but that person has touched your heart in some way or changed your life completly. Write down what your feelings are towards him/her/them.

This is my take:

For a long time I just liked you but after these crazy shots with you I will just admit I am a huge fan. Yes I am not afraid to admit it, I just "heart" you J. The first time I saw you on the Dutch television I was immediately intrigued. What a personality and what a gift you have. I loved watching your show "The baby whisperer" and was amazed of your ability to talk to such young children and by telling their parents what it was what they needed you changed lives. I went to see a theatre show of you and I finally could see you work in real life. Here is were I also saw the person behind the medium and that person is one of purity, wisdom, softness, openness which is covered with joy and laughter. Someone who is down to earth and takes all the time for his fans no matter how late it gets. Pure love. I have seen you work now 3 times and honestly I never went to the theatre for a reading, I just wanted to see you do your work and enjoy myself watching it. What a show, what a man, you are just unbelievable!

The Haute Spot Welcome

Hi all.  QD here.

Welcome to The Haute Spot (pronounced "hot" spot).  Here is where Scrapinstyletv will knock your socks off with challenges that will stretch both your creative style and your inner you.  Every other Friday one of the fabulous Fashionistas will set forth a challenge for you to contemplate, work with and play with.  The other fashionistas will have already had the chance to play along with the challenge and you will get to see the result. 

For each challenge, a prize will be given.  The winner will be selected by the host fashionista that week.  It is up to her how she wants to pick the winner of the prize.  It may be a random drawing, it may be the layout/project that catches her eye with the most creativity or the most heart or the most something.  Some weeks it may be a competition, some weeks a random drawing.  The winner will be announced before the next challenge is announced. 

When you have played with the challenge, upload your layouts/projects to the comment section and we will post them for all to see.  We hope you enjoy playing along and are looking forward to seeing whatchugot.
