Ready?
(don't forget that you can click on images to make larger)
You need:
- A laminator (I bought mine at target for around 25 bucks)
- Laminating sheets
- Stuff to sandwich in between the plastic (flowers, ribbon, memorabilia, fabric, anything not too thick would work)
Lay stuff out in between your laminate sheet. I have found that
it's better to have your sheet as close to the laminator as possible to
avoid your stuff shifting around.
(Ialso stamped in between the plastic with staz-on)
Carefully feed sandwiched sheet (seam side toward opening) through laminator
Let plastic cool, and cut into desired sizes and shapes!
The possibilities are endless!
In another one of my clear mini-books, I laminated a piece of Hambly to make it thicker and stronger.
for an example, click here
I know not all of us have a heat-set laminator...
I've
seen self-laminating pouches (where you just stick them together, no
machine needed), they're not very expensive, and come in lots of sizes....you could also use contact paper, or clear plastic book covers, or to make a very small mini, you could use clear, wide, packaging tape!
Here are some ideas of things you can use:
1) Silk Flowers
2) Lace
3) Ribbons
4) Tissue Paper

wow what a great idea!! I'm so going to have to try this!
